Getting Started with Systemic Management Coaching
Systemic management coaching demands a practical knowledge and
experience of systemic diagnosis in relationship management and strategic
planning; and the potential drawbacks and obstacles in
the older styles of coaching. You can integrate and apply systemic coaching
into your leadership style; and you can enjoy using a proven overall methodology
with effective tools.
Archaic, Classical & Systemic Coaching
Systemic coaching need not replace archaic or
classical coaching. Each offers complementary leadership tools for
different types of organizations.
- Archaic coaching may be useful for
managing rural or religious communities which seek the help of
esoteric entities. Archaic coaching skills can be wonderful
where weather and other environmental factors create problems.
- Classical coaching may be useful when
managing simple organizations that are in equilibrium (or
changing slowly) in stable environments. Classical coaching
skills can be wonderful in predictable and controllable
situations.
- Systemic coaching is useful when
managing complex organizations in changing environments.
Systemic coaching skills can be wonderful in chaotic
situations where there are strong pressures and ambiguous
objectives.

Partnership & Family Coaching
Sometimes you may bring your partnership and family problems to work -
whether you want to or not. Systemic coaching can include coaching for
your intimate partner, so that you and your partner fully appreciates each
other's position and tasks.
Systemic coaching includes couple
coaching for you and your partner simultaneously, to clean up any
disagreements or "unfinished business" that can interfere with and limit
your performance at work - and your happiness at home.
Leadership Development
Your performance as a leader or manager will reflect your knowledge on
how people and organizations change and develop. This requires a
deep understanding of your business with strong strategic
planning and relationship management skills.
Executive coaching helps leaders maximize their
leadership potential. Through diagnostic feedback, managers learn how to
apply themselves to peak performance, in alignment with the organization's
strategies and culture.
Managers on a "fast track" for leadership responsibilities
can combine one-to-one coaching with group learning. New leaders develop the
competencies to create and maintain productive teams.
Key Benefits of Management Coaching
With coaching you can get feedback that allows you
to see your performance from another perspective. This active
communication can clarify your goals and boost your
performance.
- Make better decisions
- Individual coaching for your key employees
- Resolve performance issues quickly
- Dissolve limiting beliefs
- Develop your relationship skills
- Model and duplicate your expertise
Management coaching is an opportunity to express and understand
your performance and to improve it. Coaching is a commitment to:
- acquire new skills
- analyze your performance
- build and maintain rapport
- define your performance goals
- develop your talents
- encourage your development
- find your own solutions
- generate useful ideas
- help your employees improve their performance
- implement plans for your goals
- improve your listening
- make better decisions
Skills and Performance
Management coaching develops your managerial skills and performance.
You are encouraged and supported to take personal
responsibility for your development. Your learning preferences, values, beliefs, goals and circumstances
are honored.
You are coached to focus on your goals, and deal with
whatever prevents you achieving them. Through assessment, practice, feedback and encouragement you
can
overcome your blocks and barriers.
A systemic coach need not be an expert in your business or
service. Systemic coaching helps you solve whatever stops you. Systemic coaching
can also coach you to obtain the
knowledge and develop the skills for your success.
