Productivity: Structure & Process

As your organization includes many interdependent variables, your organizational problems can rarely be solved at the level of the problem. Critical variables exist in your management structure, employee relationships, organizational culture, productivity and quality of service. These variables are inter-related; changing one will change the others.

Your executives and management teams control your organization's productivity by managing structure and processes - the relationships, resources and communications that enable the production of goods and maintenance of services. An executive or manager who understands an organizational system can:

Systemic diagnosis traces and charts the relationships and dynamics between these variables. A skilled outsider can often provide a richer systemic diagnosis than an insider.
